Hey, guys...

Yeah.

I guess we'll get started here. Today I want to talk about books.

I know I tend to talk about gaming a hell of a lot more, but my love for the two it equal. I've always been a reader, for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching my grandmother and mom read, and I remember spending hours in the library and book stores. The accomplishment of finishing your first book on your own has stuck with me forever.

I remember reading the Little House on the Prairie novels, and the Magic Tree house series. Soon falling in love with Harry Potter and The Chronicles of Narnia. Tolkien followed afterward, and it's all been a downward spiral from there.

I've recently discovered my love for poetry, falling for Dickinson and Poe. There are so many things about literature I love, it never fails to blow my mind. And reading will forever be my original escape.

Reading is a magic that will never die. It will never fall out and it will never stop being my sanctuary.

Today I saw: The sun! It's halfway through May and spring is in the air. God, I love spring.

Today I heard: Rolling in the Deep by Adele. Current favorite song.

Today smelled: Corn on the cob and potato salad. MERICA

Today I touched: Tricks by Ellen Hopkins. I miss telling you guys what I'm reading!

Today I tasted: Previously stated corn on the cob. And two massive bowls of cookies and cream ice cream. Good times, here. Alone. On a Saturday.
